WVDA Hosting Public Forum on Climate Change

Halifax, NS June 17, 2003: On Saturday, June 28th, 2003, from 1:30-4:30, leading Nova Scotians will be discussing the impact of climate change, and how Nova Scotians should respond. Sponsored by Emera, the Western Valley Development Authority will be hosting the event, to be held at the Champlain Hall at the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre, Cornwallis Park.

Speakers will include:

• Hon. Gordon Balser, Nova Scotia Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries
• Chris Huskilson, Chief Operating Officer, Nova Scotia Power
