Submission to the Petroleum Directorate Regarding The Policy Statement on Gas Distribution in Nova Scotia

Halifax, Nova Scotia, March 13, 2002: Emera is pleased to submit its response to the draft Policy Statement on Gas Distribution in Nova Scotia, released by the Nova Scotia Government on January 30, 2002. Emera fully supports the efforts of the Provincial Government to create a sound and effective natural gas distribution policy for Nova Scotia. We believe that sound policy will precede any development of gas distribution infrastructure by the private sector. We hope that our comments are constructive.
