Wasted Energy a Thing of the Past

The environment and Tufts Cove Power Plant in Dartmouth, NS, will soon benefit from plans by Nova Scotia Power Inc. to invest $56 million in a waste heat recovery project. New technology will be put in place to capture otherwise wasted energy from their natural gas-fired units. This will generate more energy without using much additional fuel in the process.
