We are committed to more conservation. We are putting greater focus on programs to promote the conservation of energy, and the adoption of energy efficiency initiatives.

We are committed to more renewable energy. By 2010, Nova Scotia Power will be generating five times as much wind power than it does currently. Bangor Hydro continues to make significant investments in transmission projects at various stages of development, part of our commitment to help the US meet Renewable Portfolio Standards by transporting clean energy from northeastern Maine and Canada.
